Award winning therapist Debbie Pielou specialises in Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Massage & Body Work, Reflexology, Reiki, Meditation and Hopi Ear Candling, using an extensive range of techniques acquired over the course of her training.
Fully qualified and with a vast amount of experience behind her, Debbie’s tailored approach to each individual client ensures that the right treatment is used for specific health needs. Her qualifications include VCTC Level 3 Reflexology,VTCT Level 3 Aromatherapy (inlcuding full body massage), VTCT Level 3 Indian Head Massage, Reiki Level 1, 2 & 3 (Master Level), Hopi Ear Candling Diploma, Anatomy & Physiology Diploma, as well as Health and Safety certificates.
After dealing with post traumatic stress disorder and experiencing the significant benefits of alternative therapies first hand, Debbie was keen to learn how to extend these benefits to others. She is a strong believer in the individual’s ability to heal themselves, empowering clients through her work and promoting a holistic approach to emotional and physical healing.
Debbie’s warm, committed approach and passion for what she does has seen her achieve 5th place for Aromatherapy Massage in the finals of the World Skills UK competition. She was also the 2011 Winner of the Irish Regional Finals for Aromatherapy through South Eastern Regional College.
With experience in treating trauma victims and clients suffering from depression, anxiety and sleep disorders, Debbie engages with each client with an initial questionnaire, and extra time is offered prior to the first session to ensure that each treatment is tailored to individual needs.
